July 13, 2008: Yoonjung Han has won the Gold Medal in the prestigious Cincinnati World Piano Competition. She will be performing at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall as part of her prize award.

I am honored to announce that I have been selected to receive the 2008 Jubilation Foundation Fellowship Award of the Tides Foundation in support for the teaching I have been doing with young people in the NYC public school system.

While it is an honor to be recognized in this way, the fact that so many parents and teachers spend so much time in the education of children, their own and other people's children, for little pay and usually no recognition it is an honor just to be able to work side by side with such dedicated people day after day.
